Beautiful snow-capped mountains, deserted beaches and crisp, cool air. It’s the perfect time of year to view the striking winter scenery that the UK has to offer. And what could be better than enjoying these remarkable scenes from the luxury of a Supercar? If you’d like to treat yourself or your loved one to a weekend with a Ferrari, Lamborghini or an Aston Martin and view some of our most impressive sights, just give us a call and we will help to make this dream come true.
We’ve put together some of our favourite winter driving routes to enjoy with a Supercar:
- The Lakes
The beautiful meandering route from Kendal to Keswick through the Lake District National Park shows some of Britain’s most magnificent views. You’ll enjoy driving alongside impressive Lake Windermere, the largest of the lakes, drive past Rydal Water, and follow the graceful curves of Grasmere. You’ll also visit Thirlmere which offers jaw dropping views at every turn. Park up your Supercar and instead tour Windermere with a Steamer cruise. Whilst driving in the Lakes, be sure to visit delightful villages and towns which offer hospitality for all tastes and budgets.
- The Lancashire Witches Driving Trail
Start at Pendle Heritage Centre and follow the Lancashire Witches Driving Trail for some stunning views with an interesting twist. The driving trail leads you to the Forest of Bowland which is an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You’ll also see sights such as the impressive Lancaster Castle.
Although we are sure that you will be spellbound by your Supercar, the Lancashire Witches Driving Trail may also pique your interest as it tells a captivating story of people accused of witchcraft and executed in 1612, through the wild landscapes and interesting structures of Lancashire.
- Highland Tourist Route
With some of the most amazing scenery in the world, the Scottish Highlands are a must for a Supercar driver. We recommend starting on the East coast in Aberdeen and travelling through the Scottish Highlands to Inverness. You’ll enjoy stunning views of mountains and wildlife in the Cairngorms National Park. The cosy Inns and friendly hospitality will afford you the opportunity to spend a weekend of luxury with your Supercar.
- Forth Valley Tourist Route
If cities are more your thing, why not enjoy the drive from Edinburgh to Stirling in a Supercar? The capital city of Scotland offers many interesting sights and experiences, but the drive to Stirling is perfect for a Supercar with views of rolling hills and pretty hamlets.
- Fife Coastal Route
In winter you’ll find deserted beaches and choppy slate-grey seas on the fife coastal route. Hire a Supercar from us and start your scenic drive in Kincardine, following the route to Newport on Tay. Stop in the quaint fishing villages and sample local foods. West Sands beach in St Andrews offers tremendous views – a walk here will certainly blow the cobwebs away!
