Supercar Driving Routes
Northern Supercar Hire offer a wide range of Supercars for self-drive hire in the UK. The team often get asked to suggest stunning driving routes in Scotland, the Midlands and the North of England, so here are three of our favorites.
Yorkshire Dales Circuit
The Yorkshire dales are described as God’s own country, where peaceful roads cut through picturesque hills, strewn with tarns and becks.
Starting in Harrogate on the A59, head towards Grassington and then on to Aysgath falls. The falls are a wonderful multi-tiered waterfall in the heart of the Yorkshire dales, which are easy to access. Enjoy the leisurely drive to the Wensleydale Creamery. From there, enjoy your Supercar on the breath-taking evening drive to Masham, where you can sample the local Black Sheep ale at the brewery. Perhaps stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Harrogate which is a 19th Century house set in 12 acres of lovely gardens.
The Lake District
What could be more thrilling than a tour of the Lake District in a supercar?
Enjoy driving a Supercar along the main Lake District route from Ambleside to Keswick. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery and friendly welcome. Return via the famous Ullswater Lake and the Kirkstone Pass.
The Black Mountain Pass, Wales
This famous road climbs over the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons.
Start on the A474 north of Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen, and travel through Lower Brynamman and Brynamman. The stunning route then crosses over the Black Mountain range of the Brecon Beacons and emerges near Felindre near Llangadog. During your drive you will enjoy some of the best mountain scenery in the whole of the UK. After Llangadog continue northeast until the junction with the A40 at Llandovery.
